Dr. Scott Waugh, MD, RMSK
Dr. Scott Waugh is a Board-Certified family practice physician with added qualifications in primary care sports medicine and musculoskeletal ultrasound. He is a graduate of Baylor University and the University of Oklahoma, where he completed the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Program and went on to continue practicing sports medicine.
Dr. Waugh specializes in finding conservative, nonsurgical treatments for orthopedic conditions of all types. As a veteran in the field of sports medicine, he has been heavily involved in the management of sports and orthopedic injuries from concussion management to sprains and fractures.
e is currently credentialed by APCA in musculoskeletal ultrasound and uses this technique to diagnose and accurately treat many conditions. Since 2010, Dr. Waugh has been using regenerative technology to heal, fill, and replace damaged or degenerative tissue with great success. He often travels the country to share this technique with other doctors, teaching this cutting-edge procedure to some of the nation’s most advanced practitioners.
Dr. Maryam Qayum, MD
Dr. Meg Qayum is a Board-Certified physician with a specialty degree in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. With over twenty years’ experience. She began her career in sports and musculoskeletal medicine, where she honed her skills in the use of regenerative techniques and procedures for both pain management and healing of injury. These techniques include stem cell therapy, PRP’s and exosome therapy.
Her interest in pain management grew from this practice as numerous positive outcomes in her patient population, coupled with the high safety profile of these treatments, lead her to expand her services to meet the ever growing demands of her patients for pain relief. More often than not, Dr. Meg was hearing patients saying they wanted options to improve their quality of life, vitality and overall sense of well being in a safe and effective way.
Dr. Meg Qayum received her Doctorate in Medicine from Louisiana State Medical School and completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans.
Dr. Meg Qayum is an active member of the A4M and is a fellow in Anti-Aging, Metabolic and Functional Medicine. She is a member of the International Cell Surgical Society and is trained in the use of stem cell therapy, PRP’s and peptides.
Nurse Practitioner, FNP-C
Vi received her undergraduate degree in Health Science, Nursing at the University of Texas at Galveston. After several years experience as a perioperative nurse at Memorial Hermann Medical system and Kirby Surgical Center, Vi found her passion for orthopedics.
She continued her education at Texas Woman’s University, Masters Family Nurse Practitioner program and graduated in 2015. Since that time, she has collaborated with some of the most renowned orthopedic surgeons in the country and has helped thousands of patients with various musculoskeletal injuries.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my two daughters, Olivia and Ava, and my husband of 10 years. We are constantly on adventures together; from Ironman races, marathons, ultra-marathons to RV camping across the state. We believe in bonding through motion and activity which is key to a happy and healthy family.
